When many people think of advertising, they think of
classified ads. This has been a source of information for many people in their local
newspaper for years. Some are not aware that there are a multitude of free classifieds
sites on the Internet, for both the reader/buyer and the advertiser.
We have put together a list of free classifieds
sites for you, beginning with our own. So post an ad at Real Wealth
Buildings' Free Classifieds, and read some of the other ads out there, then work your
way through the list below. Please make sure you read any rules for posting, including
spamming rules.
Free Classifieds can be very effective, but you have
to be willing to put in the time to post and repost your ads when they expire. The best
sites will send you a notice when your ad is about to expire or has just expired, so be
sure to give an e-mail address that you can monitor, but we do not recommend using your
main address at most of these sites. As with many forms of free advertising on the net,
you can open yourself to spam.
We do not spam users of our free services. You will
receive a thank you for posting as a confirmation, and then a reminder when your ad
expires.
These are in no particular
order. We have not evaluated which classifieds are the best, as that largely depends on
what you are promoting. What works for someone else may not work for you. If you do get a
lot of results from any particular site, however, we would like to know. If we recieve a
lot of feedback, we will include the information on our site. As always, if you contribute
